Why Dordogne
Dordogne draws couples from all over the world: rolling hills and river valleys, golden stone villages, medieval castles and a food culture known for its walnuts, truffles and local wines. It is also within reach of the UK, with flights into Bergerac and Bordeaux (some of them seasonal), so your guests can make a long weekend of it.
Planning from a distance is simpler than it sounds. We keep in touch by email and messages, at a pace that suits you, and build the timeline of your day together: getting ready, the ceremony, group photos, portraits of the two of you and the evening. I'm comfortable working in English, so every detail is clear between us before you travel.
Whether you're having a civil ceremony at the mairie or a celebrant-led ceremony at your venue, I photograph it with the same care. Many couples marry legally at home and hold a symbolic ceremony in Dordogne; either way, I adapt to your officiant and to the way your day unfolds.

Places & settings
The questions couples living outside France ask most often before booking their wedding photographer in Dordogne.
Ideally 6 to 12 months before the wedding, as dates between May and September fill up quickly. Your date is secured once the contract is signed and a 30% deposit is paid. If your wedding is sooner, it's still worth asking.
Yes. We get to know each other and keep in touch by email and messages as your plans take shape. Before you travel, we agree the timeline, the group photos and the moments that matter most to you, so the day itself can unfold calmly.
No, English is enough for all of it. I'm comfortable working in English, so our emails, messages and the plan for the day can all be in English. On the day, I can switch to French with your venue team or with any guests who prefer it.
Yes, both. Whether you exchange vows at the mairie or with a celebrant at your venue, I'll be there to photograph it. If you are still weighing up the legal side, your venue or planner can explain the options open to you.
I live in Périgueux, so there are no flights to budget for your photographer. The first 20 kilometres are free; beyond that, a supplement based on the distance is shown clearly in your quote.
My wedding packages start at €900, with fuller coverage from €1,500 and from €1,900. All three are set out on this page, and your quote confirms every detail before you book.
Your photos arrive within 4 to 6 weeks, in a private online gallery. Wherever you live, you can download them in high resolution and share the link with family and friends.
